A space for mums where no apologies needed. A place where parents can reconnect with themselves. We have created a unique space where everyone can feel as if they were living together. We aim to evoke scenes of raising kids the traditional way, where communities were closely connected, and the different generations helped each other out. However, in today's society, where nuclear families and dual-income households are common, many families struggle with feelings of isolation and the challenge of balancing work and childcare. Our concept is "where childcare and society naturally intersect, blend, and coexist." Families can stay together, eat and chat together; and feel free to leave their children with us to clear their minds and reconnect with themselves. We are committed to providing an environment where families raising children can spend their time comfortably without ever having to apologize.

About 30 minutes from central Tokyo by train, Kawagoe is a city that retains the atmosphere of the Edo period. Musubiya is a converted old private house, built in the middle of the Meiji period (1868-1912). It is a single building, with a restaurant and a childcare facility that specializes in childcare that enables guests to spend time by themselves with their children. The concept of the Musubiya is "another place you can call home’’. We value the warmth of the ordinary, rather than the aggressive extraordinary. We prioritize the warmth of everyday life rather than an aggressive departure from it. While staying here you can enjoy wandering around Kawagoe, taking in the sounds and the traditional, relaxed atmosphere of ‘Little Edo’. Couples can enjoy a relaxing time together, while families can enjoy lively gatherings as if visiting their grandparents house. It's also possible for groups of friends to stay together for multiple nights, creating a shared house experience. Cafe
We offer menus that are kind to the body and incorporate plenty of koji and other fermented products. The concept being ”safety and peace of mind”, so that everyone from children to the elderly can enjoy our meals. The meals include daily side dishes with plenty of vegetables and miso soup that we carefully prepare the dashi (fish soup stock) broth for. The lunch menu includes an "omotsubi" (rice ball) set, which we hope you will enjoy because rice is deeply connected to this place. A children's set is also available. We also welcome customers outside of lunch time. Chochi (small drink) sets, baked sweets made with natural yeast, and handmade o-hagi (rice cakes) are also popular. *Koji = a type of Japanese fermented food made using grains

(1) Approximately 10 minutes by bus from Kawagoe Station or Honkawagoe Station, alight at "Fudanotsuji" bus stop, walk 5 minutes (one bus every 5 minutes).
