About 30 minutes from central Tokyo by train, Kawagoe is a city that retains the atmosphere of the Edo period. Musubiya is a converted old private house, built in the middle of the Meiji period (1868-1912). It is a single building, with a restaurant and a childcare facility that specializes in childcare that enables guests to spend time by themselves with their children. The concept of the Musubiya is "another place you can call home’’. We value the warmth of the ordinary, rather than the aggressive extraordinary. We prioritize the warmth of everyday life rather than an aggressive departure from it.
